Securitas Security Services is currently recruiting a full-time Construction Security Officer based in Dublin 15. This is a day shift position. A valid Safepass is desirable for this role.
Main Purpose of the Position:
To protect our customer’s property, people, and assets by providing security services at a specific site, in accordance with the published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and any updates.
Expectations of this Position:
1. Complete all required training satisfactorily for the site.
2. Perform all tasks and duties as outlined in the published Assignment Instructions.
3. Review and familiarize oneself with the AIs regularly, suggesting improvements where possible.
4. Report any health and safety hazards immediately.
5. Remain alert to threats or changes in the environment to prevent disruptions, loss, or damage.
6. Use common sense and initiative, involving others if a situation becomes threatening.
7. Accurately document incidents promptly for reports.
8. Wear the provided uniform correctly, maintaining cleanliness and grooming standards.
9. Maintain a courteous, professional attitude towards colleagues, clients, and the public.
Security Officer Specification:
* Fluent English is essential.
* Excellent written communication and attention to detail skills.
* Good PC skills.
* Previous security experience is desirable.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Flexible working hours.
* PSA Licence required.
* Manual handling and Safe Pass are desirable.
* Own transport is desirable.
