Job Description
As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site. This includes coordinating all planned, preventative and corrective maintenance activities to guarantee optimal equipment performance and reliability.
Your primary objective will be to plan and schedule all maintenance activities, including reactive, preventative and calibration tasks, using our state-of-the-art Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
You will lead daily and weekly planning meetings to prioritize work orders and review maintenance plans for accuracy and effectiveness. Your keen analytical skills and ability to think critically will be invaluable in identifying and resolving potential issues before they become major problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; alternatively, significant experience in a maintenance planning role may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
* Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyor belts.
* Proficiency in CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
