EPS has an immediate vacancy for a Stores Manager for its regional office & store facility based in Ballyhaunis Co Mayo.Key Responsibilities:Proven ability to manage stock inventory, stock records etcEnsuring optimum level of stock is maintained to satisfy client requirementsConducting negotiations with key suppliers and securing best commercial termsMeeting with supplier's representatives to secure quality product and serviceEnsuring customer orders are processed in a timely manner for both over the counter sales and goods outwards deliveryAbility to co-ordinate & manage a highly computerised stock management systemLean concepts, i.e. focus on process improvementsResponsible for Health and Safety within the warehousePoint of contact for ISO stores auditsLead a team performing all material handling activities at goods inwards, picking, packing and shippingMain contact with in and outbound freight companies on a day-to-day basis including invoice reconciliation, and for tendering freight contractsCompliance with various regulations such as: EHS, ISOKey Competencies and Skills:Strong leadership and team management skillsProven ability to implement and optimise processes for operational efficiencyExcellent communication and customer relationship management skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skills to support decision-makingAbility to manage budgets and drive business development initiativesKnowledge of Health & Safety regulations and best practicesProficiency in ERP systems and MS Office toolsQualifications:A minimum of 5 years' experience managing a stores facility or similar environmentFamiliarity with Municipal, Industrial, and Commercial markets in IrelandExperience in Lean Business processes would be an advantage.Knowledge of ERP and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge and experience of safe Manual HandlingQualification in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plusForklift licence is desirableBe able to demonstrate that you have completed Logistics or People Management programs.Compensation Package:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.A collaborative and supportive work environmentWe welcome speculative applications from individuals of all levels.If you are interested in working with us but are not sure if the role above is for you, please feel free to get in touch for an informal discussion about what we do and what you could bring to the team.
