Hardware Design Engineers
Chipright is looking for experienced Hardware Design Engineers for our Irish client to work on the development of hardware for the next generation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
Responsibilities
1. Research and develop hardware design solutions for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
2. Schematic design and development of embedded systems.
3. Review and approve PCB layouts, ensuring they are optimized for high-speed signals and EMC performance.
4. Carry out design calculations, including worst-case and thermal analysis using MATHCAD.
5. Perform circuit simulations.
6. Generate hardware design requirements.
7. Provide technical guidance and manage assigned resources efficiently.
8. Support the bring-up and electronic testing of prototypes, including EMI/RFI, electrical, environmental, and ESD testing.
9. Evaluate new technologies and design trade-offs.
10. Lead hardware DFMEA & DFM&T activities.
11. Manage technical communication regarding hardware topics with customers and suppliers.
12. Identify and schedule all hardware development tasks in collaboration with the Project Manager, including generating timing plans.
13. Adhere to internal and customer procedures.
14. Stay updated with new industry standards.
15. Support continuous improvement of the hardware development process.
