Job Title: Environmental Impact Assessment Coordinator
About the Role:
This is a key position within our organization, responsible for leading the delivery of environmental impact assessment reports and appropriate assessments for renewable energy infrastructure projects.
* Lead the EIA process for large-scale renewable energy projects, including the delivery of environmental impact assessment reports and appropriate assessments/natura impact statements.
* Provide environmental expertise to assist the planning team and inform the business unit strategy to ensure compliance with planning and environmental issues.
* Stay up-to-date with changes in planning/environmental legislation, policy decisions, and updates to national, regional, and local authority development plans to maximize outcomes for the company.
The ideal candidate will have a honours degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or equivalent, and a minimum of five years' experience in leading the preparation of EIAR and AA/NIS for large-scale projects. Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams on EIA projects is also essential.
Key Requirements:
* Honours degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or equivalent.
* Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline desirable but not essential.
* Minimum of five years' experience in leading the preparation of EIAR and AA/NIS for large-scale projects.
