We want to hear from driven individuals who work collaboratively with colleagues and want a rewarding career in the property market.

What is the Role

Real Estate Finance (REF) is a specialist customer facing department in AIB Capital Markets. We are a team of 65 people with a mix of disciplines including data experts, economists and a Chartered Engineer who help us make better decisions.

We work collaboratively in a vital role, ensuring that we play our part in addressing the housing situation by funding the development of A-rated homes in RoI. Working closely with the largest developers in the country, we also encourage them to improve further the sustainability credentials of those homes.

We fund institutional and large private investors for the purchase of commercial real estate assets across Ireland and in Europe through participation in large international syndicates. We work with these borrowers to develop a transition plan to improve the quality of their buildings.

We already have a broad variety of people working in the department and are seeking to hire new people into a number of roles across REF. Having experience in property related lending is an advantage, but not a must have.
