Madcraft is a fast-growing digital transformation and growth company headquartered in Dublin, with a significant and expanding presence across the United States and the UK. Founded in 2017, we partner with ambitious B2B organisations to deliver high-performance digital platforms, AI-enabled solutions, and ongoing growth programmes.
Over the past two years, Madcraft has experienced exceptional momentum — scaling rapidly, expanding internationally, and strengthening our position as a trusted partner for digital transformation, B2B eCommerce, AI implementation and performance-driven marketing. With year-on-year growth of more than 60%, and a substantial portion of next year's revenue already booked, we're now entering our next stage of scale.
To support this phase, we are hiring a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who can elevate our finance function, introduce world-class financial discipline, and help steer the business through significant growth, expansion opportunities, and potential investment activity.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven CFO with a background in digital, technology, consulting, digital marketing, or digital transformation firms, ideally in an international or multi-entity environment.
This is a critical leadership role within the business. You will oversee all financial operations, build the systems and reporting required for scale, and act as a strategic partner to the Founder & CEO and senior leadership team.
You will be responsible for ensuring Madcraft operates with financial clarity, rigour, and forward visibility — enabling us to scale confidently both in Ireland and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Planning
* Develop and own Madcraft's financial strategy, forecasting models, and long-term planning.
* Build a robust budgeting process and establish clear financial targets.
* Support international expansion, including US operations and future market entry.
Financial Governance & Reporting
* Implement a structured monthly close, board-level reporting, and KPI framework.
* Strengthen financial controls, cashflow management, and compliance across all entities.
* Lead the development of project-level profitability, margin analysis, and performance dashboards.
Leadership & Team Development
* Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, with strong processes, accountability, and operational discipline.
* Collaborate with department heads (Digital, Web, Client Success, Sales, Operations) to ensure all teams have accurate financial insight.
Commercial Partnership
* Work closely with the CEO on pricing strategy, commercial models, and strategic opportunities.
* Provide financial leadership on large-scale proposals, international contracts, and strategic partnerships.
* Support M&A exploration, including the evaluation of potential US acquisitions.
Investment & Exit Preparation
* Prepare the company for potential minority investment and a future exit event.
* Ensure Madcraft is "investor-ready" with clean financials, governance, and due-diligence documentation.
* Act as a financial lead during investor discussions, negotiations, and external engagements.
About You:
* 8–12+ years' experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within digital transformation, digital consulting, technology, digital marketing, or agency environments.
* Proven experience scaling finance functions in fast-growing, multi-entity companies.
* Strong commercial acumen, with an ability to partner closely with operational and technical teams.
* Deep understanding of revenue forecasting, margin optimisation, recurring revenue models, and project-based businesses.
* Experience working with international operations (particularly US markets).
* Comfortable in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment where speed and adaptability are essential.
* Strategic thinker who can also implement the detail.
Why Join Madcraft:
* Opportunity to shape the financial strategy of one of Ireland's fastest-growing digital transformation companies.
* Work directly with the Founder & CEO and a high-performing leadership team.
* Play a critical role in our next phase of international expansion and in preparing the business for strategic milestones.
* Competitive compensation package and share options aligned with experience.
If you're excited by the opportunity to help build a world-class digital transformation company and play a pivotal role in our next stage of growth, we'd love to hear from you.
