We are seeking a Junior Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic estimating team in Cork.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain organised records of project documentation, including PIR reports, drawings, photographs, and cost data.Support tender submissions for electrical remediation, upgrade, and construction projects.Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates, covering labour, materials, plant, equipment, and subcontractor elements.Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify project requirements.Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and clarify technical queries.Contribute to the maintenance and development of cost databases and benchmarking systems.Ensure compliance with company estimating procedures, health & safety protocols, and industry standards.Participate in post-tender reviews and lessons-learned exercises to support continuous improvement.Skills & CompetenciesStrong document control and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Maximo or estimating software is an advantage.Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Proactive team player with a positive and professional attitude.Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €31,108.96-€55,838.13 per yearWork Location: In person
