Exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a growing energy business in Dublin as Finance Director.
Reporting to the Group CFO, this role requires strong collaboration across operations, commercial and trading to ensure business targets and growth objectives are met.
As part of the SLT you will be expected to be both strategic and forward thinking, as well as hands on and detailed.
A key component of the role will involve making considered, highly accurate, business critical decisions under pressure The successful candidate will bring a complementary blend of technical, commercial, and corporate finance credentials.
Responsibilities: Key member of the SLT team involved in devising, implementing, and delivering business strategy.
Act as a critical financial business partner to the wider leadership team.
Lead and develop a high performing finance team focused on exceeding targets and objectives Oversee the Finance team, ensuring that they drive Business Unit Gross Margin, cost control and cash flow performance Review and identify gaps in functional processes and outputs and create a plan to bridge them.
Enhancement of existing operational processes, systems, and procedures Oversight and governance of business reporting & planning processes ensuring strong financial controls Monitor and amend trading and credit risk management including cashflow, collateral & credit optimisation.
