Job Description
Our client in Public Health is seeking reliable and hardworking
MTAS (Kitchen & Laundry)
to join their team.
The successful candidates will support the daily operation of kitchen and laundry services, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, residents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with kitchen duties including meal preparation, serving food, washing dishes, and cleaning kitchen areas
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organise linen and clothing
Operate kitchen and laundry equipment safely and effectively
Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and infection control
Clean and sanitise work areas, surfaces, and equipment
Monitor supplies and report low stock levels
Follow all health and safety procedures
Work as part of a team to meet daily service needs
Requirements
Previous experience in kitchen, laundry, cleaning, or healthcare support work is desirable
Good attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
Ability to follow hygiene, food safety, and infection control procedures
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and flexible in approach to work
Able to carry out manual handling duties as required
