We are currently seeking a highly organised and professional Secretary to provide full administrative support to management in a busy office based in North County Laois.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage all aspects of office administration including correspondence, filing, and record-keeping.
2. Prepare letters, reports, and other documentation as required.
3. Handle reception duties, including answering calls, greeting visitors, and managing queries.
4. Process orders and creditor payments accurately and efficiently.
5. Arrange meetings, take minutes, and coordinate schedules.
6. Prepare returns and liaise with Head Office and external stakeholders as needed.
Requirements
7. Previous experience in a secretarial or administrative role.
8. Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
11. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
12. Professional, discreet, and proactive approach to work.
Contract Details
13. Location: North County Laois
14. Pay rate: €17.04 per hour
15. Hours: 35 hours per week, full-time
16. Contract: To 31st December
17. Training: The successful candidate must be available for training at Head Office during the week commencing 28th October, with the role commencing on Monday, 3rd November.
