Location: Dublin 1Job Type: Contract (12 Months with two six months extensions thereafter)Work Type: On-site / HybridRole Type: Project Management Overview of RoleThe Senior ICT Project Manager will lead the delivery of large-scale IT projects within the Financial Services domain. The role involves managing the end-to-end project life-cycle to deliver timely, effective, and fit-for-purpose software and technology solutions. The successful candidate will operate within the client's established project governance structures and methodologies, ensuring projects align with business objectives and best practices.Role & Responsibilities:Facilitate Agile events including Scrum, Kanban, and continuous improvement sessions.Coach and mentor teams in Agile processes, tools, and best practices.Lead planning, estimation, and dependency management activities.Support Product Owners with backlog management and prioritisation.Clarify project goals, tasks, and deliverables for teams and individuals.Create and maintain detailed delivery and implementation plans.Drive continuous improvement in delivery effectiveness and team performance. Skills, Qualifications & Experience:Proven record managing IT projects using recognised methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Strong practical knowledge of project management disciplines - budget, risk, schedule, quality, and resource management.Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, manage conflict, and create clarity in complex situations.Experience within financial services or similarly regulated environments preferred. Experience:Minimum 7+ years overall experience as an ICT Project Manager.Recent, hands-on experience managing Agile delivery (Scrum / Kanban).Experience leading teams and delivering medium-to-large-scale technology initiatives.Proven stakeholder management experience within matrixed organisations. Education & Certifications:Formal Project Management certification (one or more of the following: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent).Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Visa:Irish/EU Citizen or Stamp 4 Visa holder.
