Essential criteria for the position of Facilitator
A full QQI level 5 major award in Health/Care is essential
Awareness of Key Worker/Support Worker role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs
Programme Planning: Person Centred Plans
Availability to work shifts on a rota basis
Full driver’s licence (manual) essential
Permission to work in Ireland essential

Qualifications required for a Facilitator
A full QQI level 5 Health Care Qualification is essential (e.g., health, community, care sector), but a genuine passion for providing person-centred support is key to being successful in the role of a Facilitator. This is a truly rewarding role, with the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and your career.

Responsibilities - Supporting your clients
We are looking for a Facilitator who can:
Learn about the client: what they need and what is important to them
Adapt communication style to suit their needs
Be fun and engaging, yet patient and kind
Assist with daily living activities and routines including personal care
Support them to engage in the community
Help them learn new skills
Support them to understand their rights and help them make their own decisions
