Your new role Our client is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with 8+ years' experience to join their team in Galway. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and ambitious team with excellent career prospects and opportunities. You will assist in the design and delivery of various civil and structural projects for our private and public clients. You will be involved at various project stages, from feasibility to detailed design, contract document preparation and administration. The work will be primarily office based. You will have strong technical knowledge of site development works, drainage, utilities, road design & earthworks. Experience leading & mentoring junior engineers and technicians. Excellent organisational & project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects & meet deadlines. Strong written & verbal communication skills, with experience in client liaison, design team co-ordination, and local authority engagement. All work will be carried out in accordance with the company's ISO procedures. What you'll need to succeed You will have a level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline. 8+ years' experience in a design office within the Irish or UK market. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Revit and 3D Civils is highly desired. A proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios. A successful track record of working closely in partnership with clients and contractors. A full licence and transport is required for occasional site visits.
