The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager having experience as Domain Consultant in Funds Management to lead customer’s finance, planning and reporting transformation initiative leveraging SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Datasphere. The role involves driving end‑to‑end project delivery, conducting assessments, managing change, and ensuring successful integration of data components for planning and reporting.
Your Responsibilities
As a Project Manager
Lead project planning, execution, and governance for finance and planning transformation.
Drive business and technical assessments across planning, reporting, and procurement processes.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
Manage integration of SAP S/4HANA, SAC, and SAP Datasphere components for data harmonization and reporting.
Ensure proper data modeling and connectivity using SAP Datasphere for planning and analytics.
Oversee change management activities, including communication, training, and adoption strategies.
Monitor project risks, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with solution architects and domain consultants to validate functional and technical designs.
Prepare executive dashboards and status reports for leadership review.
As a Domain Consultant
Lead business discovery and requirement‑gathering workshops across fund management, finance, investment, and operations teams.
Define planning logic for AUM‑based fee income at fund, share class, and ISIN levels.
Support design of fund‑level and segmental P&L structures, including revenue, operating expenses, depreciation, and profitability analysis.
Define cost allocation methodologies for overheads, internal investment management costs, and shared services.
Contribute to workforce, project, and capital expenditure planning requirements from a business perspective.
Support scenario modeling and what‑if analysis for market movements, fee changes, cost optimization, and organizational growth.
Assist in defining reporting KPIs, management dashboards, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Validate assumptions, calculations, and outputs with business stakeholders.
Produce clear functional documentation and support change management and user adoption activities.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience
As a Project Manager
Seasoned professional with extensive in‑depth experience in project management within financial services, Asset Management (Funds) or enterprise transformation programs.
Strong understanding of fund management processes, financial planning, and reporting requirements.
Experience in managing SAP S/4HANA Finance and planning‑related projects.
Knowledge of SAP Datasphere for data integration and modeling.
Proven expertise in change management and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage cross‑functional teams and global stakeholders.
As a Domain Consultant
Strong and proven experience in fund management, asset management operations, or financial planning roles.
Strong understanding of fund structures, AUM‑based fee models, share classes, and delegated investment management.
Experience with cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Exposure to regulatory and management reporting in asset management or BFSI environments.
Excellent stakeholder communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
Additional Qualifications
PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
Experience in BFSI or Asset Management industry.
Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning and reporting.
Familiarity with VAT compliance and procurement modernization initiatives.
Experience supporting planning transformation or modernisation initiatives.
Exposure to enterprise planning or reporting tools (tool‑agnostic).
