About the Role
We are partnering with
well-established small to mid-sized Irish accounting practices
looking for experienced
Practice Accountants
to join their growing teams. These roles are ideal for
ACA, ACCA, or CPA part- or fully qualified accountants
who are
client-focused, ambitious, and ready to progress
in Irish public practice.
As a
Practice Accountant
, you will work in a
client-facing role
, managing a
portfolio of SME clients
, delivering
statutory accounts, management accounts, and advisory services
, and ensuring
compliance with Irish tax and accounting regulations
.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a
portfolio of SME clients
across multiple sectors
* Prepare and review
statutory accounts
and
management accounts
under
Irish GAAP / FRS 102 / IFRS
* Ensure
compliance with Irish corporate tax (CT), income tax, VAT, and PAYE
* File returns through
Revenue Online Service (ROS)
* Provide
client advisory services
and maintain strong
client relationships
* Liaise with
Revenue, auditors, and external stakeholders
as required
* Review work and
support junior team members
with guidance and mentoring
* Assist with
internal controls, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end processes
Candidate Requirements
* ACA / ACCA / CPA Part or Fully Qualified
* Minimum
18 months' experience in Irish public practice
(recent practice experience within 12 months preferred)
* Strong knowledge of
Irish accounting, tax, and compliance standards
* Client-facing experience
with SME portfolios
* Proficient with
accounting software
: Xero, Sage, SURF, QuickBooks, or similar
* Strong
communication, time management, and professional skills
