With this will come the opportunity to innovate and improve standards, processes and quality of patient care.
The role therefore requires good organisational and interpersonal skills that provides an approachable, sensitive and supportive environment for patients.
A critical part of the role will be supporting health promotion and screening and in particular the delivery of the Chronic Disease Management programme within the practice.
