Operations Management Role

* The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with clients to confirm specifications and agree Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* This role involves tracking open jobs and ensuring customer timelines and service expectations are met.
* Key responsibilities include entering daily stock movements and deliveries into the internal system, ensuring pro forma invoices align with physical word dockets.
* A critical component of this role is allocating stock to jobs and liaising with yard supervisors on scheduling and progress.
* The Operations Manager will also support the stocktaking process, including periodic audits and reconciliation tasks.
* This position requires creating regular production schedule reports and similar documents.

Requirements

Applicants must possess:

* No less than 3 years' experience in a similar role in the Construction, Engineering or Manufacturing industry.
* Previous experience working with order processing and stock management systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and CRM/order management systems.
* Experience liaising with multiple internal departments (yard, accounts, operations).
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
