Arcadis DPS Engineering are a seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a Pharmaceutical assignment located in Ballydine, Tipperary. This is an 11-month contract .
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and service level agreements (SLA) with vendors.
* Ensure the availability of correct spare parts for continuous operation.
* Support the registration of equipment and instrumentation in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
* Assist with Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), project walkdowns, commissioning, and documentation handover.
* Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) for facility maintenance.
* Support the validation of equipment, particularly HVAC and Process Air systems.
* Report on engineering metrics and develop action plans based on findings.
* Drive continuous improvement through digital tools and the Merck Production System (MPS), including tier meetings, 8-step problem-solving, and standardization.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
* Experience in a strongly regulated Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.
* Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and integrate diverse perspectives.
