Job DescriptionWhat you will do:Develop and maintain server-side applications and APIs using PHP and modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony)Design and implement scalable, secure backend services and database schemasCollaborate with UI/UX designers and front-end developers to implement features and ensure a seamless user experienceParticipate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and standardsTroubleshoot and debug server-side and integration issuesWrite unit and integration tests to ensure code reliabilityContribute to the development of reusable services, libraries, and SDKsOptimize application performance, security, and scalabilityWhat you will need to have:Strong proficiency in PHP (PHP 7/8+) with solid knowledge of OOP and common design patternsExperience with a PHP framework such as Laravel or SymfonyExperience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSONWorking knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (Eloquent, Doctrine)Familiarity with Composer and dependency managementUnderstanding of caching strategies, background jobs/queues, and session managementFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)What would be great to have:Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit, Pest)Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CIExperience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)Experience with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Redis) and search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch)Understanding of security best practices (OWASP) and data protection principlesExperience in the FinTech industry
