We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Advisor to join our team.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers throughout their vehicle service journey. This will involve scheduling bookings, determining workshop availability, maintaining progress updates, advising on additional work or costs, and handing over serviced vehicles with clear explanations and payment processing.
Liaising with various teams, including management, reception, sales, warranty, and parts, is also an essential part of this role. Additionally, assisting with gathering customer service feedback will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing end-to-end service to customers, from initial contact to vehicle handover.
* Scheduling customer bookings via phone, email, or walk-in.
* Determining workshop availability for service, maintenance, and repair work.
* Maintaining up-to-date progress on each customer vehicle undergoing service or repair.
* Advising and agreeing with customers on additional work or costs.
* Liaising with other teams, including management, reception, sales, warranty, and parts.
* Assisting with gathering customer service feedback.
Requirements:
* At least 1 year's experience in a similar role within the motor industry.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (fluent written and spoken English).
* A working knowledge of ADP/Kerridge (further training can be provided).
* Proven experience in delivering excellent front-line customer service.
* Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively, especially during peak periods.
* A valid driving license for Ireland.
* Authorization to live and work in Ireland or a current visa/work permit.
