About the Role
Johnson&Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement, for Capital Construction & Project Management (CCPM) supporting Innovative Medicines projects in EMEA.
The role leads sourcing, supplier management and network capability strategies across CCPM/CAPEX categories, supporting supply chain, R&D, and office expansion projects across the region.
Collaboration and Delivery
The EMEA CCPM Category Lead works closely with Engineering & Property Services (EPS) and Global Engineering Technology (GET), particularly the Engineering Design, Project Delivery, and Construction teams responsible for strategic capital projects.
The role partners with suppliers providing Architectural & Engineering (AE), Construction Management (CM), Automation, and Commissioning & Qualification (CQ) services, and with engineering and business stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Category leadership and sourcing: Lead procurement for the Capital Construction & Project Management (CCPM) and Capital Equipment (CE) categories across JJIM EMEA capital projects, develop sourcing strategy, conduct negotiations, implement contracts and ensure compliance.
Spend, value and financial performance: Manage medium- to high-complexity spend with internal and external stakeholders, optimize cost, cash flow, schedule outcomes and meet financial commitments including project cost contribution, savings targets and support the J&J Free Cash program.
Strategy execution and program deployment: Lead initiatives aligned with the Capital Construction & Facility Services (CCFS) strategy and deploy global procurement programs effectively across the CCFS EMEA team and JJIM sites.
Supplier and vendor management: Manage procurement activity and supplier relationships across preferred vendors for short- and long-term projects, assess performance on financial results, quality, service and compliance, and serve as Supplier Relationship Manager for key EMEA vendors.
Stakeholder partnership and demand planning: Identify business demand and planning requirements, partner with leaders across Supply Chain, EPS, R&D, Finance and Procurement to deliver annual value improvements and enhance competitive advantage.
Supplier performance and innovation: Align with supplier leadership on quality, reliability, innovation and cost objectives, leading performance monitoring, data analysis, capability development and end-to-end value improvement.
Cross-functional collaboration and issue resolution: Partner with other CCFS categories (MRO, Facility Maintenance, Energy) and indirect procurement teams (IT, HR Services, Transportation, R&D) to support project needs.
Transformation and continuous improvement: Lead strategic projects that improve the efficiency, effectiveness and scalability of procurement processes, including market intelligence, risk assessment, total cost analysis, process improvement and automation or AI initiatives.
Leadership standards and compliance: Build strong, value-added relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicate business issues to higher management, comply with Health, Safety, Environmental requirements and perform other assigned duties.
Experience Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, science or related field (MBA or other master's preferred).
Experience: 8–10+ years of relevant procurement experience supporting large capital investment projects, with expertise in Architectural & Engineering (AE), Construction Management (CM), Automation and Commissioning & Qualification (CQ) vendors in EMEA.
Leadership and stakeholder management: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical, supply-chain and functional partners, lead teams, collaborate cross-functionally and deliver projects in complex matrixed environments.
Negotiation and influence: Proven ability to build value-based supplier relationships and negotiate commercial and non-commercial terms to achieve business objectives.
Professional strengths: Strategic mindset, disciplined data-driven thinking, strong collaboration and influencing skills, learning agility, openness to change and ability to work in ambiguity.
Regulated environment knowledge: Experience working in highly regulated, stakeholder-intensive environments and representing Procurement across teams and external partners.
Procurement process knowledge: Understanding of sourcing, category management, requisition-to-pay (R2P), accounts payable and related procurement operations.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Travel: Requires international and domestic travel typically ranging from 5% to 20%.

Pay Range
Cork, Limerick – €85,******–€146,****** (primary location).
Belgium – €96,******–€121,****** (gross).
