Description
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the role is extensive in scope and will require a candidate who is commercially minded with a comprehensive understanding of business operations, an analytical mindset and excellent presentation skills.
The Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across the organization. This position requires an individual with the ability to analyse complex data, identify opportunities for value creation, and present insights effectively to senior leadership.
The successful candidate will be a curious, solutions-focussed individual, who demonstrates flexibility and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The role will have significant C-level/board exposure and provides huge opportunity for growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and evaluate business performance, providing recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
* Partner with C-suite executives and other senior leaders to communicate financial insights and influence strategic decisions.
* Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to senior leadership, effectively conveying complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
* Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and accurate financial projections.
* Collaborate with business leaders across the organisation to develop and implement financial strategies that support business objectives and drive growth.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Qualified Accountant with 5+ years post qualified experience (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
* Minimum 3 years of Finance Business Partner experience in a busy medium to large team
* Experience in the energy sector a distinct advantage
* Inquisitive mind with ability to understand and solve complex business problems
* Track record of process improvement
* Comfortable presenting in front of executive management level
