We are seeking a highly organised and empathetic administrator to join our dynamic Heart & Vascular Department.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and be able to manage patient interactions with the utmost efficiency and professionalism.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
* Prioritising patient care and safety in all aspects of work
* Coordinating clinic schedules and book review appointments
* Maintaining accurate clinic lists and handling patient queries effectively
* Managing accounts and handling monies responsibly
* Preparing and ensuring all necessary patient documentation is available for admissions and clinics
The successful candidate will have:
* A good standard of education (Leaving Certificate or equivalent)
* Sound knowledge, awareness, and experience in administration
* Proficiency in PC skills and strong computer literacy
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrated awareness and sensitivity towards patient needs
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure
Preferred qualifications include previous experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
