About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to lead our team in Leinster, responsible for overseeing and expanding a portfolio of merchant partners.
You will be expected to build lasting relationships with customers, enhance product visibility, drive sales growth, and provide training, merchandising, and promotional support to key merchants.
This field-based role offers autonomy with full backing from an experienced and collaborative team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and expand a portfolio of builder's merchants, hardware stores, and specialist distributors across Leinster.
* Foster long-term customer relationships and increase product awareness.
* Grow sales and provide key merchants with training, merchandising, and promotional assistance.
* Work independently with comprehensive support from a skilled team.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in field sales, preferably within construction or the merchant sector.
* Predisposed towards B2B field sales backgrounds (e.g. FMCG, industrial) looking to transition into construction.
* Proven ability to manage a territory and grow existing accounts.
* Highly motivated, commercially savvy, and comfortable working autonomously.
* Full driving qualification.
About You
To succeed in this position, you must possess a proven track record of managing territories, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth. A background in field sales, particularly in construction or the merchant sector, is highly desirable.
