Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Project Manager. This position is hybrid working, and is based in Dublin 8. The successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee working 35 hours per week. This is also a temporary contract, initially for 12 months with the possibility of it being extended. The salary on offer for this position is €60,613; this works out as €33.19 per hour. You will also be able to accrue up to 30 days annual leave per annum and be paid bank holidays. Purpose of the post: In this post, you will manage selected deliverables within the Technical and Security workstream and support the Senior PM and wider team in their roles. This Project Manager role will manage selected deliverables within the Technical and Security workstream such as: Legacy system sunsetting including data migration. The setup and deployment of agreed reporting architecture across the various stakeholders - Vendor, T&T, PH/HPSC, including secure access design. The completion of service Introduction. Developing a framework for security incident management, disaster recovery and business continuity, aligning with the routine support processes and standards. Other technical and security projects and tasks as assigned by the Senior PM's as the Programme evolves and progresses through the lifecycle. Eligibility criteria: Candidates must have at the latest date of application: Experience in managing IT projects, preferably within the health environment, using industry standard project management methodologies, as relevant to the role. An understanding of technology and security requirements of cloud-based ICT systems, An understanding of retiring a legacy system and replacing it with a modern alternative, including data migration. Experience in the collection, management and analysis of data to include the creation of documents, reports and presentations, as relevant to the role. Significant experience in a role that has involved working with senior managers and other key internal and external stakeholders, as relevant to the role. Skills, competencies and/or knowledge: Professional Knowledge & Experience Demonstrates knowledge of the role, objectives and clinical IT systems, as relevant to this role. Have a working knowledge of health services deliverables. Demonstrates knowledge and experience relevant to the role as per the duties & responsibilities, eligibility criteria and post specific requirements of the role. Demonstrates the ability to maximise the use of ICT - excellent computer skills particularly Microsoft Office, Outlook etc. Demonstrates understanding of the project management methodology and the technical competences required to effectively manage the initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of a project. Demonstrates ability to manage project objectives are achieved within the identified constraints, taking preventive or corrective measures where necessary. Demonstrates ability to manage stakeholder expectations. Demonstrate the ability to effectively plan and manage resources, effectively handle multiple projects concurrently, structuring and organising own workload and that of others effectively. Challenges processes to improve efficiencies where appropriate, is committed to attaining value for money. Evaluating Information, Problem Solving & Decision Making Demonstrate numeracy skills, an ability to analyse and evaluate information, considering a range of critical and complex factors in making effective decisions. Recognises when it is appropriate to refer decisions to a higher level of management. Demonstrate initiative in the resolution of complex issues / problem solving and proactively develop new proposals and recommend solutions. Ability to confidently explain the rationale behind decisions when faced with opposition. Flexibility to adapt, take on new tasks or change course as the need arises. Communications & Interpersonal Skills Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise and confident manner (written & verbal). Strong presentation skills. Demonstrate the ability to influence people and events and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, working collaboratively within a multi stakeholder environment.
