Deputy Work Package Manager - Offshore Phase 2
The Deputy Interface Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of EirGrid's offshore programme by managing the delivery of key regulatory, governance, and reporting workstreams.
The role will bridge the interface between programme delivery and group regulatory compliance, ensuring that investment plans, incentive frameworks, and performance reporting are aligned with CRU expectations and internal governance standards.
The Opportunity
The Deputy Interface Manager will lead the interface management framework, including systems, registers, and reporting tools.
They will coordinate with EPC Contractors, Technical Leads, Works Package Managers (WPMs), and the Project Scheduler to ensure interface milestones are embedded in programme schedules.
The Team
The Chief Transformation, Technology & Offshore Office (CTTOO) is responsible for driving innovation, digital transformation, and strategic technology delivery across EirGrid.
It enables the organisation to meet its decarbonisation and infrastructure goals through modern systems, data intelligence, and programme governance frameworks.
The Offshore PMO sits within this office, ensuring alignment between technology strategy and offshore programme execution.
About You
Successful candidates will have:
Essential
Proven experience in EPC interface management and engineering coordination on large infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of HVDC/HVAC systems, commissioning protocols, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with project scheduling tools and interface milestone tracking.
Ability to manage complex technical issues and drive resolution across multi-disciplinary teams.
Desirable
Qualification at degree level or above within Engineering discipline
Experience working in regulated utility environments.
Knowledge of EU funding and governance frameworks.
Experience with offshore transmission systems and marine construction interfaces.
