QHSE Manager (Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental) Location: (multi-site responsibility) Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer Salary: €70,000 €75,000 (DOE, negotiable) + 10% bonus About the Opportunity Linkedskills is hiring an experienced QHSE Manager on behalf of a well-established and growing logistics organisation.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards across multiple operational sites.
You will take ownership of compliance, systems, and performance, ensuring operations meet legal, regulatory, and customer expectations while continuously improving standards across the business.
This role requires someone who can operate at both strategic and operational levels,building systems, influencing people, and ensuring standards are consistently delivered in real-world environments.
Role Overview The QHSE Manager will lead all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental functions, ensuring robust systems are in place and fully embedded across the organisation.
You will manage day-to-day compliance, identify gaps, and provide clear reporting to senior leadership, while driving continuous improvement across operations.
The objective is simple: protect standards, reduce risk, and support sustainable business growth through strong QHSE performance.
Key Responsibilities QHSE Leadership & Compliance Provide expert QHSE guidance to managers and staff on legislation, standards, and best practices Ensure Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems are fully developed, implemented, and consistently applied Monitor compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards Lead internal audits and support external inspections Systems Management & Continuous Improvement Maintain the integrity of QHSE systems through auditing, training, and document control Manage SOPs and identify deviations from quality standards Continuously improve processes using Lean and operational improvement methodologies Ensure alignment between documented procedures and operational execution Incident Management & Risk Control Lead investigations into all QHSE incidents and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) Track and analyse incidents, non-conformances, and audit findings Maintain accurate records and perform statistical analysis Report on non-compliance, including accidents, NCRs, and audit outcomes Operational Oversight Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments Ensure hygiene and safety standards are consistently maintained across all facilities Monitor and improve controls across transport, warehouse, and operational activities Support managers in embedding QHSE practices into daily operations Training, Communication & Culture Deliver and track QHSE training (Manual Handling, Forklift, PPT, Ergonomics, etc.) Ensure all employees are fully inducted, trained, and compliant before commencing work Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Communicate standards clearly across all levels of the organisation Stakeholder & Contractor Management Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with QHSE standards Manage Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) Review customer audit reports and implement required actions Gather and act on customer feedback to improve service standards Reporting & Governance Maintain QHSE dashboards covering incidents, training, and audit performance Provide regular updates to senior leadership on compliance and risks Lead QHSE meetings and contribute to operational planning Support the preparation of Transport and Traffic Management Plans Certifications & Standards Maintain and develop ISO and other relevant certifications across all sites Ensure audit readiness at all times Take ownership of AEO compliance and requirements Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in a QHSE role (logistics, transport, or warehouse environment preferred) Relevant QHSE qualifications with full remit experience Strong knowledge of Irish health & safety and environmental legislation Experience with ISO standards and certification processes Proven ability to manage QHSE across multiple sites Skills & Attributes Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels close attention to detail, with strong documentation and reporting ability Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commercial awareness and understanding of customer expectations Confident, proactive, and capable of challenging poor practices High level of performance, motivation, and accountability Package & Benefits Salary: €70,000 €75,000 (depending on experience, negotiable) Bonus: Up to 10% annual performance bonus Travel: Approx.
