You’ll Be Responsible For
 * Work will be assigned subject to the priorities across the section. There will be a requirement to support the current team with reference to the following areas:
 * The development and management of the annual transmission system maintenance plan including corrective and preventive maintenance requirements for stations, lines and cables, ongoing prioritisation/deferral of maintenance and coordination with around outage durations and requirements within the framework of the transmission outage planning process.
 * Responding to day‑to‑day equipment plant issues and coordinating to manage discovered work and actions following transmission system faults.
 * Ensuring prompt response to system faults and involvement/chairing of fault investigation groups.
 * Identification and assessment of assets for refurbishment, including initial scoping and preparing capital approvals.
 * Development and management of transmission system asset management plans, policies and standards including research, development and implementation of new approaches and systems for asset management.
 * Maintenance of ISO55001 asset management system.
 * Project management of selected capital projects.
 * Ensure developments are commissioned to comply with the Grid requirements by producing and issuing commissioning instructions and verifying transmission system requirements are met to allow commissioning tests to proceed.
You’ll Need To Have
 * Engineering degree or equivalent, typically 4 to 6 years relevant experience.
 * Experience of plant maintenance and asset management principles.
 * Excellent stakeholder management skills including collaboration and influencing skills with the ability to effectively engage with other teams, companies and stakeholders, acknowledging different perspectives respectfully.
 * Experience conceiving and introducing innovative ideas, solutions or new ways of doing things with strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.
 * Strong communication skills with an emphasis on high quality report writing and ability to communicate technical issues clearly and effectively.
 * Team player who can support and be collegiate with others in delivering company strategy and objectives.
 * Full driver’s licence.
