Uppercross Enterprises Limited (UEL) is a successful, family-run business supplying high-quality plumbing fittings and heating products through the Irish Builders' Merchant, Wholesale Plumbing, and Bathroom Showroom channels since 1983. They also have the Niko Bathroom showroom, all based in Tallaght, Dublin.
UEL are in continuous expansion mode. They just completed a move to a fantastic 100,000 sq ft warehouse, showroom and offices in Tallaght and have added two global brands - Myson and Geberit to their portfolio recently.
About the job
Reporting to the UEL Sales Director, you'll be the area sales manager for the northern Leinster area, covering customers who have a long-standing relationship with UEL. The product range has over 4,000 SKUs.
You will spend your day-to-day on the road. Before visiting every customer, you'll be able to utilise the sales support team of six. You will also have a sales intelligence software tool to build up a dossier as part of your sales strategy for each customer and product category. That will include knowing the customer's recent sales history and understanding the potential opportunities available from your customers.
Ideally, you'll come from a plumbing and heating background, as you'll already know the market and the products. However, if you're currently a field sales manager across any industry, who has a proven track record of consistently cross-selling and upselling to many customers, UEL would be interested in talking to you.
