Contracts Manager Position
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects from early pre-con stages to onsite delivery and handover.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring construction drawings, specifications, and work requirements, as well as working closely with the design team to plan works for new projects and create programmes for new projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing projects through all aspects of construction from tender submission to handover
* Reporting to and supporting the Director
* Directing and managing personnel, site staff, and subcontractors, and managing and coordinating weekly progress meetings, workshops, and plans for action
* Maintaining high-quality standards of work and ensuring that any issues that arise during construction are handled in a timely manner
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
* A degree in Construction Management or similar (third-level qualification)
* A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Contracts Manager/Senior Project Manager with a main contractor in Ireland
* Proven experience of overseeing high-value projects from concept through to completion
* Effective management skills, including the ability to manage site programmes and associated schedules to required deadlines
* Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentation skills
