Senior Security Operations Role
About the Role
We are working with a global organisation undergoing significant growth and investment in its cyber security function. They are seeking an experienced Security Operations Professional to lead critical initiatives across identity, cloud, data, vulnerability, and SOC operations.
This is a senior leadership role with executive visibility, offering the chance to shape enterprise security strategy, oversee major technology platforms, and manage a high-performing operations team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Security Operations & Incident Response, including 24/7 SOC monitoring and escalation.
2. Oversee Identity & Access Management (IAM / PAM), including CyberArk deployments.
3. Drive Vulnerability & Patch Management using Qualys.
4. Lead enterprise Cloud and Network Security strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP, microsegmentation).
5. Implement and manage Data Security & DLP policies (Microsoft DLP).
6. Contribute to security governance, compliance, and risk frameworks.
7. Mentor teams, manage vendors, and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
8. 10+ years' progressive experience in cybersecurity and security operations.
9. Strong expertise across at least 5 of the following 8 domains:
Security Operations & Incident Response
Identity & Access Management (IAM / PAM)
Vulnerability Management
Cloud Security
Network Security
Data Security / DLP
Email Security
Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
10. Hands-on experience with CyberArk, Qualys, Illumio, Microsoft Security solutions.
11. Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls.
12. Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, or vendor-specific) highly desirable.
