About The Position
The Role
Are you enthusiastic about creating innovative payments infrastructure? Curious about the intricacies of payment flows in a high-scale environment?
In this role, you'll work across various aspects of the tech stack, primarily utilizing PHP, while leveraging tools like MySQL for data analysis. You'll engage in strategic discussions around payment ecosystems, payment processors, database performance, replication, system stability, metrics tracking, integration resilience, and more. This position offers continuous opportunities to learn and grow while contributing to impactful changes on a global platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate on complex Pay-in and Pay-out platforms, refining product requirements to identify potential issues early in the process.
* Work closely with engineers at various levels to deepen your understanding of the system and its design.
* Share knowledge with teammates and learn from their expertise in a collaborative environment.
* Contribute to production-ready code frequently using continuous deployment systems.
* Engage in code and design reviews, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
* Emphasize teamwork, ownership, technical skill, and communication in all aspects of work.
The Candidate
Preferred Candidate Profile
* Minimum of 2 years of PHP experience, particularly in payments or e-commerce.
* Proven ability to operate autonomously, mentor junior team members, and deliver high-quality solutions.
* Preference for candidates based near Dublin, with the ability to attend the office 12 times per week.
Tools and Technologies
* Development: PHP, any preferred PHP IDE
* Collaboration: Jira, Slack, Google Suite, Miro
* Analytics & Monitoring: BigQuery, Grafana, Google Cloud Logging (GCL), Looker
Remuneration Package
A good rate is on offer, as is the opportunity to work from home 3 days per week.
