Join our team as a Privacy Program Manager. You'll establish and improve privacy initiatives that help safeguard our Pinners and support Pinterest's compliance with global privacy laws. You'll work closely with teams across Pinterest, helping to embed privacy best practices into our products and culture and champion a privacy by design mindset.What you'll do:Establish, maintain and evolve Pinterest's privacy program, policies and practicesConduct privacy risk assessments for new and existing featuresSupport teams on privacy-by-design, data minimization and responsible data useSupport privacy incident response: investigations, mitigation steps and regulatory notificationsMonitor compliance and develop audit plans to identify and fix gapsMaintain data inventories and records of processing activitiesWork cross-functional across Legal, Engineering, Security, Product and other teams to integrate privacy requirementsSupport responses to regulatory inquiries, privacy audits and internal assessmentsSupport Commercial Legal team in reviewing and negotiating DPA terms with third-party processorsWhat we're looking for:Deep expertise in privacy and compliance or a related area, with strong knowledge of global privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPAExpertise in program management and working on cross-functional projectsExperience in technology or digital media environmentsStrong communicator with experience in translating complex privacy risks to non-legal audiencesCommitted to continued learning and growth in privacy and data protectionBachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Law, Business or Information Security, or equivalent experienceProfessional privacy certifications (such as CIPP or CIPM) are a plus Relocation Statement:This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
