Ayrton Group are seeking an Ergonomist for a position with our client, a large tech organisation, in the Cork region.Key Responsibilities:Effectively communicating and delivering on the Ergonomic & Health & Safety management system/s within a large organization through the provision of efficient and professional services.Improving continually the Ergonomic programs and implementing these.Providing solutions and recommendations to resolve identified Ergonomic & MSD problems as these are identified in hardware, software, and amongst staff.Provision of support to EHS related training.Completing Ergonomic risk assessments – desk based (VDU, DSE, workstation), as well as remotely.Providing support services to those working remotely and helping set staff up for home working.Undertaking EHS performance assessments and benchmarking.Innovation to manage the ergonomic programs.Preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reviews.Responsibility for specific elements of the ergonomic program in a large organization.Key Requirements:Ergonomic related and/or Health & Safety Degree.Minimum of 1 year experience as an Ergonomist in a similar role.Recognised Trainer Certification in a relevant specified subject, such as QQI Level 6 Manual Handling Trainer.Experience in Training & Education.Experience of Ergonomic Assessments including DSE/workstation assessments, at home working, dealing with employee related MSD (and other applicable health queries) and ergonomics in the workplace.Knowledge of ergonomic surveys in a manufacturing environment would be a distinct advantage.EHS auditing experience, ideally with low-risk environments which will have a synergy with the types of projects that will be the focus of this role.Strong numerical, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.Proven ability at grasping technical concepts & a systematic approach.Strong ability to collaborate, motivate, and work effectively with a variety of different teams, employees, and stakeholders.Effective communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels, to persuade and encourage a positive work environment.You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.
