Job Title: Prison Officer Professional
This role is part of a partnership to recruit trades professionals for maintenance and rehabilitation efforts within the prison system.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out plumbing installation, maintenance, and project works.
* Complete statutory checks, repairs, and reporting to relevant standards.
* Monitor plant and equipment, and maintain detailed records.
* Supervise and engage with prisoners during maintenance tasks and daily routines.
* Support operations, including security, safety, escorts, and structured activities.
Requirements:
* National Craft Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience.
* Age 18+.
* Strong communication, reliability, and commitment to public service.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
