The role
12-month fixed-term Financial Controller position based in Kilkenny. The role focuses on financial reporting, financial controls, compliance, stakeholder management, and leading the finance function. It is a senior position requiring strong technical accounting expertise and commercial awareness.
Initially fully onsite and then hybrid following training.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and oversee monthly management accounts across the group.
Maintain and improve accounting policies, controls, and compliance processes.
Monitor costs and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
Manage year-end financial reporting processes.
Ensure statutory and regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time.
Coordinate audits, tax reviews, and relationships with external auditors and regulators.
Lead and develop the finance team.
Provide financial insight and support to senior stakeholders across the business.
The ideal candidate will be:
Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
Minimum 5 years PQE.
Experience as a Financial Controller.
Experience managing financial reporting across multiple entities/subsidiaries.
Experience preparing audit files and supporting external audits.
