The Role:
* Oversee the transaction team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless execution.
* Manage transactions from inception to closure, encompassing LOI, Lease, and SPA review, with a focus on accounting and tax perspectives.
* Coordinate intercompany debt and documentation, external debt and documentation, bank account requirements, and jurisdictional tax reviews.
* Ensure timely availability of cash for acquisitions, liaising with Security Trustee and Capital Markets Team.
* Perform day 1 accounting assessments, setting up accounting systems, and managing technical teams for required inputs.
* Prepare handover documents for operational finance teams and schedule meetings, as well as manage data tapes (all driven by Sysco).
The Person:
* A Chartered Accountant with industry or practice experience, holding 4+ years PQE, preferably in aircraft leasing-related roles.
* Experience in managing small teams, resolving complex accounting issues, and developing project management skills.
* Effective communication, report writing, and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
* A team player with willingness to travel, able to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
