Senior Psychologist Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Longford. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing therapy to service users and their families, as well as supporting the team through reflective practice, consultation, supervision, and training.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions for adults with complex mental health presentations.
* Contribute to clinical decision-making, service planning, and the promotion of psychological approaches across the team.
* Manage and prioritise an independent caseload while working collaboratively with the MDT.
You will also be responsible for engaging in reflective practice, supervision, and ongoing professional development to ensure you remain up-to-date with best practices and research in the field.
Eligibility Criteria
* Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.
* Eligibility for professional registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or relevant professional body.
* Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years at Senior or equivalent level.
