Overview
Role: Customer Assistant (20-25 Hours) at Tesco Ireland. You will be part of a team delivering excellent customer service while upholding Tesco values.
Responsibilities
* Always put the customer first and consider them in everything you do.
* Get to know customers and serve them with pride.
* Help ensure products and services are available for customers at all times.
* Handle all products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach the customer in the best condition.
* Keep the shop floor and back areas clean and tidy at all times.
* Follow department routines and processes using the training you receive.
* Follow all company policies and adhere to Health and Safety routines.
* May support colleagues by helping in other departments as needed.
You will need
* Able to give great, natural customer service by proactively smiling, greeting, acknowledging and helping customers.
* Works hard for customers, your team and your department.
* Ability to prioritise to ensure actions are right for customers.
* Adaptable and resilient to meet changing business demands.
* Ability to follow verbal or written instructions.
* Reliable and punctual.
* Smart and tidy at all times.
