Purpose:
To lead the fabrication and assembly of steel modular structures and associated pipework/systems in line with quality, safety, and delivery expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise fabrication workflow and modular assembly activities from steel preparation through to completed unit handover to electrical fit-out.
* Coordinate daily team activity, assigning resources to meet output requirements while managing bottlenecks and rework.
* Monitor progress against production plan and proactively escalate risks.
* Ensure all works are carried out per fabrication drawings, weld procedures, and project specifications.
* Maintain and update the fabrication Monday board and ensure Tier 1 meeting effectiveness.
* Verify and sign off dimensional checks and weld inspections prior to QA review.
* Ensure full compliance with Cental's safety procedures, particularly for hot works, confined space and lifting operations.
* Drive continuous improvement mindset on the floor – productivity, layout, tooling, 5S.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a fabrication supervisory role (modular, industrial or structural steel background preferred).
* Strong blueprint and fabrication drawing interpretation.
* Proven ability to manage teams to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and safety.
* Familiarity with ISO welding standards, inspection protocols, and NCR processes.
* Excellent communicator and problem solver.
