Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service and supporting the overall success of our stores.
* Interacting with customers in a friendly and helpful manner
* Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store
* Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Following freshness and rotation principles
* Ensuring all waste is managed correctly
* Assisting in the stock count process
About the Role
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop their skills. They will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of store standards, and working effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
2. Store Maintenance: Maintain the overall appearance of the store, including ensuring shelves are stocked, floors are clean, and waste is disposed of properly.
3. Stock Management: Assist in managing stock levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and reporting any discrepancies.
4. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain store standards, and provide support during busy periods.
Requirements
* A can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
* The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* A good team player with a positive attitude
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role or similar industry preferred but not essential
