Your New Role
You will report to an experienced Financial Controller who will support and advise you to ensure your success.
A dedicated Finance Team consisting of 8 members, including Accounts Payable, Payroll, Finance Analysts, and Accountants, is already in place.
In the beginning, you will be responsible for managing a number of smaller entities, which will develop over time as you grow into the position.
Main Responsibilities:
* Preparing management accounts leading to the preparation of final annual accounts for external audit.
* Preparing weekly management reports, including cashflows, gross profit calculations, KPI reports, etc., as required.
* Post invoices, cash sheets, bank payments, bank reconciliations, creditor reconciliations on a weekly basis.
* Preparation of monthly payment runs for creditors.
* Preparation and submission of all necessary tax returns, including VAT returns, PAYE/PRSI returns, and any other statutory returns required by CSO or other authorities.
* Liaising with external auditors in relation to statutory accounts and other related matters.
About You
To succeed in this role, you must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, Chartered, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or qualified by experience.
Solid accounts software experience with good Excel skills are essential.
