We are currently seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of complex electrical projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will work closely with Senior Project Managers and Site Supervisors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
You will be actively involved in key areas such as planning, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and health & safety compliance. This is a hands-on, learning-focused role that provides a clear path toward becoming a fully-fledged Project Manager.
This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious electrician, electrical engineer, or recent graduate with some site or industry experience—someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and keen to develop a long-term career in project management within the electrical contracting sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Site Management in daily operations
* Monitor quality control and ensure standards are upheld on electrical installations
* Coordinate labour and sub-contractors on site
* Attend meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
* Track and record project progress, variations, and documentation
* Arranging work permits for the project team
* Reviewing and issuing of submittals and handover packs
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
* Maintain accurate records, including site diaries and labour allocation sheets
* Assist with procurement and tracking of material and equipment deliveries
Candidate Requirements
* A degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction, or related field
OR a qualified trade background with supervisory experience
* Minimum of 2 years' experience with an M&E contractor, main contractor, or consultancy
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and building services
* Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
* A proactive attitude and ambition to progress to full Project Management role
* Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
