My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Part Qualified Accountant on a permanent basis
Candidates will need to have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
Experience within the hospitality sector would be a distinct advantage.
Candidates must have a good working knowledge of Excel
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and P&L reporting.
Supporting payroll processes and monitoring dept. labour costs.
Completing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls.
Assisting with revenue reporting and financial analysis across the hotel.
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
Preparing financial reports and assisting with audits and compliance requirements
Working closely with operational managers to ensure financial procedures are followed
Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, controls and financial processes.
The Person
Key Skills:
A recognised accounting qualification or being part-qualified is desirable
Previous experience within hotel or hospitality finance preferred
Strong analytical ability and excellent attention to detail
Confidence working with department heads and operational managers
Strong organisational and communication skills
A proactive approach and a genuine interest in developing their career
