Job Title: Senior MEICA Project Manager Salary:Negotiable DOE Job Type:PermanentLocation:Co. Louth Ref: S11981 RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client are seeking to speak with experienced MEICA PMs to join their industry leading organisation on an upcoming project and provide key support to the Contracts Manager. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, they have been trusted to design, build, operate and maintain prestigious municipal and industrial water infrastructure projects. Due to their varied and extensive client base they actively seek to develop their people, gaining experience working with a diverse range of engineering professions allowing you to choose a specialist career path with training and promotion always available once aptitude and a willingness is evident. Leading the Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA) Engineering scope of works on the project, or series of smaller projects, you will be involved in all day-to-day aspects of delivery including programme management, commercial management and HSQE development and awareness. Requirements: Around 5+ years experience in a similar role, within water/wastewater is a bonus. Hold a level 8 Honours Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science or Chemistry with extensive industry experience. Extensive working knowledge of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013. Holder of a certificate in Managing Safely for Construction Managers preferable but not essential. Experienced in MEICA engineering works such as process systems, mechanical installation, control panels, electrical installations, commissioning and process proving activities. Ability to engage with the customer as well as suppliers and sub-contractors in financial negotiations and final account agreements. Good working knowledge of programme management software such as Microsoft Project. Ability to prepare baseline programmes and programme updates. Ability to use own initiative, problem solve and adjust as issues arise during project delivery. Working knowledge of MS packages such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Strong communication skills with a high level of motivation. Full Driving License. Full role description available on application.
