Sustainability Advocacy Lead
Logitech is seeking a driven, strategic and impactful Advocacy Lead to support Logitech sustainability thought leadership and drive industry-wide positive transformation. This role is responsible for supporting the development of Logitech sustainability thought leadership strategy and developing impactful content, advocating for progressive practices and influencing regulations.
Location: Cork, Ireland
Hybrid role: 2 days a week on site
Key Responsibilities
Thought Leadership
Support the development of the thought leadership strategy, narrative and messaging in collaboration with corporate communications.
Serve as a bridge between Logitech’s internal sustainability programs and external advocacy initiatives to ensure alignment of the thought leadership strategy with the Logitech sustainability strategy.
Develop a pipeline of high quality thought leadership content (articles, white papers, press releases, speaking engagement, talking points etc…) that showcase Logitech’s expertise and vision in sustainable practices.
Identify internal initiatives to translate into thought leadership vehicles. Work closely with internal teams to highlight sustainability achievements that strengthen Logitech’s thought leadership position.
Prepare talking points for representation in customer meetings, industry forums, conferences, and public events, articulating and promoting sustainability initiatives, priorities and practices.
Coordinate the development of internal policies that will shape and enhance Logitech thought leadership position, in collaboration with internal teams.
Industry Advocacy
Drive the engagement in existing industry groups (RBA) and enhance value for Logitech.
Perform stakeholder and landscape mapping and identify highest-value advocacy arenas and priorities (industry groups, regulatory bodies etc).
Develop advocacy positions on sustainability issues, building credibility and influence across the industry.
Collaborate with the Public affairs team to advocate for progressive sustainability regulations. Engage with government agencies and regulators, participate in consultations and industry working groups (technical workgroups etc) to advocate for progressive sustainability policies.
Industry Collaboration
Support the identification and development of strategic alliances with customers, industry peers, regulatory bodies, and NGOs to drive shared innovation and wider adoption of sustainable practices across the sector.
KEY DELIVERABLES
Thought leadership strategy developed, accompanied by measurable deliverables (e.g., published content, keynote appearances, media mentions).
A series of technical, high-impact sustainability content pieces (e.g., articles, white papers, blogs) establishing authority published quarterly.
Advocated positions on sustainability policies and industry practices.
Partnerships with industry peers with shared initiatives that bring measurable contributions to shared innovation and sustainable practices adoption.
PROFILE
Background: 15 years+ in sustainability, marketing, communications, corporate affairs, advocacy or related roles, focused on ESG.
Proven track record of shaping narratives and generating visibility.
Skills: Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills
Deep knowledge of sustainability trends and frameworks
Ability to translate technical achievements into accessible, impactful messages
Ability to work with cross functional teams.
Qualifications: Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Sustainability-related fields.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Passionate about sustainability, innovation, and long-term impact.
