MEICA Project Manager
Location: Navan / Leinster
Please note there is an element of travel in this role as you will be travelling to our Leinster based sites.
The Role:
Reporting to the senior Contracts Manager, the MEICA Projects Manager will manage all aspects of project and programme delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. The candidate should have experience working with a Main Contractor, coordinate multidisciplinary trades, and possess strong commercial acumen, communication skills, and client negotiation abilities. A strong work ethic and excellent time management are essential, along with experience in troubleshooting and delivering MEICA projects for industrial clients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Lead project teams and ensure adherence to safety standards.
* Coordinate with clients, designers, subcontractors, and statutory bodies.
* Manage health and safety inspections, testing, and quality checks.
* Develop and monitor project programmes, mitigate risks, and manage project delivery teams.
* Handle project budgets, cash flow, and interim payments.
* Identify value engineering opportunities and manage stakeholder relationships.
* Prepare reports, support tendering, and seek continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in water/wastewater industry.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, ideally with a relevant safety certification.
* Experience with design, construction, commissioning of MEICA systems.
* Level 8 Honours Degree in Engineering; Chartered Engineer preferred.
* Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6).
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, full driver’s license, safe pass trained.
