Technical Support Engineer Opportunity
Experienced Technical Support Engineers are sought to join a well-established engineering services company. This office-based role involves providing technical support to the engineering team and liaising with customers on equipment breakdowns and technical queries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate day-to-day operations of the service department.
* Provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
* Manage customer equipment breakdowns, particularly Fanuc & Piovan experience is advantageous.
* Liaise with principal partners to source support, parts, and schematics.
* Maintain and upload RAMS to customer portals.
* Manage calibration instruments and service documentation.
* Update machinery records in software management systems.
* Collaborate on service schedules and contribute to operational planning.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering/manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with plastics machinery, especially Fanuc & Piovan experience advantageous.
* Previous experience in maintenance or service-focused role.
* Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
