Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with Technology, the Business and other internal teams in coordinating Technology regulatory and risk activities to drive continuous improvement of related governance and processes.
Perform an advisory role on technology risk management processes, regional regulations, firm policies & procedures, system dependencies and best practices.
Assess and monitor technology risks including ensuring compliance with Firm policies and regulatory requirements (e.g. DORA).
Oversee technology services received from both internal and external third parties.
Track division-impacting technology risks and support management in influencing the prioritization of remediation activities.
Actively participate in governance control committee meetings providing input and subject matter expertise.
Involvement in other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Relevant career experience & Working knowledge of key Technology, Information Security, and Cybersecurity concepts (e.g., data security, security architecture, identity and access management, network security, change management, etc.)
Understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards relating to technology risk
Working knowledge of technology applications and infrastructure (e.g., server, network, platform desktop environment) and ability to identify risk and controls.
Ability to employ process-based thinking to effectively obtain, analyze, and interpret information, identify root causes of problems, and draw logical conclusions.
Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good organizational skills with diligence and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Experience in a risk role in asset management or related industry is a plus
